R. Gene Richter Scholarship Program – Application Requirements

  1. Completed scholarship application form. 

  2. Résumé 

  3. Unofficial transcripts from all colleges attended. 

  4. Two letters of recommendation. One letter must come from a faculty member at your current university. Recommendation letters are to be submitted in a sealed envelope with the authors' name written across the seal.  

  5. Completion of these three essay questions:

    1. How have you led or worked within a group to achieve a common goal? 

    2. Describe an ethical dilemma that you faced and how you resolved your difficulty.

    3. Why have you chosen the field of supply chain management?

Eligible students are:

  1. Enrolled full-time in an accredited supply chain management curriculum 

  2. A senior during the 2022-2023 academic year

  3. Graduating in either December 2022 or April/May 2023

  4. A citizen of the United States or Canada, or possess a valid green card

  5. Available to attend the Institute for Supply Management Annual International Conference virtually May 22-25, 2021  

  6. Willing to sign a contract pledging that the monetary award will be used for educational expenses (this includes living expenses)
